A strong emotion was experienced on the show Buenas noches familia (eltrece) when Guido Kaczka opened his heart as he recalled one of the most painful moments of his life: his father's death. The host, who usually keeps a cheerful and relaxed tone on the show, broke down as he shared a very personal story that moved both the audience and those present in the studio.
Everything began when Dionisia, a participant who is almost 86 years old, recounted that her husband had died suddenly shortly after celebrating his birthday. Moved by her story, Guido decided to respond with an intimate and similar experience.
"Look, you told me a very intimate story, I'm going to tell you a very intimate and very similar story," he began, his voice faltering.
The story that broke Guido Kaczka
The host recalled that his father, Benjamín, had also passed away shortly after celebrating a birthday.
"My dad had a birthday, we threw a big party. A few days later, he was in bed and said to my mom: 'Hey, Susi, you look so beautiful,'" he recounted.
Guido continued reliving that last conversation between his parents, visibly moved: "'Oh Benja, stop it,' she told him. He insisted: 'No, seriously, you look so beautiful,' lying in bed."

With a lump in his throat, he told how his mom went to the bathroom and heard her husband's last words: "He told her 'no, come here, hug me for a bit.' My dad wasn't the type to do those things, so my mom found it strange. When she came back, he said: 'Oh Susi, I'm feeling dizzy,' and he died."
The story moved the audience and the host himself, who couldn't hold back tears as he remembered that day that marked his family forever. Amid silences and gestures of restraint, Guido continued: "My mom was always left with the feeling that she could have done something. We still talk about it."
At that moment, Dionisia, the participant who had started the conversation, tried to comfort him with words of faith. "Yes, one is left with that feeling... but I'm very religious, and we have our day marked. Only God knows when we will leave," the woman replied, while the audience accompanied her with heartfelt applause.
