Headache for Boca: Cavani got injured and will miss at least two matches

Boca has no respite in this Torneo Clausura. After the draw against Rosario Central, Miguel Ángel Russo's team received bad news: Edinson Cavani has been injured again and will be out for the upcoming matches.

"The player Edinson Cavani has a strain in his right psoas," the club's official medical report stated. Recovery will take at least 15 days, which rules him out of the match against Central Córdoba and also against Defensa y Justicia.

The coach's intention was to repeat the starting eleven that had just drawn, with the only change being Agustín Marchesín for Leandro Brey in goal. However, the Uruguayan's injury forces a change in the attack.

Everything indicates that Milton Giménez will be chosen to partner with Miguel Merentiel in the attack, taking the place left vacant by Cavani.
