El Trece canceled Reacción en Cadena, the game show hosted by Homero Pettinato, and the news shook up the programming schedule. The show had debuted with a 3.2 rating, a figure that set off alarms at the network.
The early ending was confirmed on Intrusos (América TV), where Adrián Pallares revealed that it was Adrián Suar himself who called Pettinato to inform him of the decision. The channel also announced structural changes that will affect the afternoons and prime time.
Changes at El Trece: new time slots and new bets
The arrival of new shows for Guido Kaczka and Mario Pergolini had already triggered a restructuring. However, the cancellation of Pettinato's show forced a new redesign.
Rodrigo Lussich explained that on July 31, when Viviana Canosa's show ends, Los 8 Escalones will take its place. This will also mean an extra half hour for Cuestión de Peso and for Canosa herself, in an attempt to strengthen the channel's afternoon line-up.
