Homero Pettinato, out of El Trece: his show lasted only two weeks

El Trece decided to cancel "Reacción en Cadena," the show that marked the debut of Homero Pettinato as a host on that network. After only two weeks since its premiere, the show will be taken off the air due to low ratings.

The show had started on Monday, June 24, but this Friday, July 12, will be its last broadcast. The decision was communicated directly by Adrián Suar, who personally called Pettinato to inform him that his show would not continue on the air.

The ratings did not support the launch

According to the show Intrusos (América TV), "Reacción en Cadena" debuted with 3.2 rating points, a number considered low for El Trece's afternoon slot and especially for a launch.

"Much more was expected. The network had other expectations," stated Adrián Pallares, who also confirmed the exact date of the cancellation. The show going off the air also forces the network to reorganize its entire afternoon schedule and part of prime time.

This is the new programming line-up for El Trece

Homero's show's departure coincides with other major changes at El Trece, including the return of Guido Kaczka and the highly anticipated debut of Mario Pergolini with his new show.

Starting Monday, July 15, the tentative programming will be as follows:

• 1:00 p.m.: Mediodía Noticias
• 2:45 p.m.: Viviana en Vivo (until July 31)
• 4:00 p.m.: Cuestión de Peso
• 6:30 p.m.: Ahora Caigo
• 8:00 p.m.: Telenoche
• 9:00 p.m.: Buenas Noches Familia
• 10:30 p.m.: Otro Día Perdido
• 11:30 p.m.: Síntesis

Additionally, "Los 8 Escalones" is expected to be added to the slot that will be available after Viviana Canosa's departure. According to Rodrigo Lussich, the shows Cuestión de Peso and Viviana en Vivo will also be extended by half an hour to fill the empty slots.

The schedule is not yet finalized, but more changes are coming to El Trece in the coming weeks.
