Honor officially presented its Robot Phone, a smartphonewith an integrated robotic stabilizer, artificial intelligence, and ARRI technology.
The device began selling in China on August 12, with an initial price of 9,999 yuan, about US$ 1,482. The company confirmed that it will not have international distribution.

The arm is hidden behind a transparent cover. To activate it, you need to slide the cover, open the camera app, and press the button located below the shutter.
It can also be activated via a hand gesture. Once deployed, it allows you to physically move the module to follow the subject during recording.

Honor incorporated six dynamic camera modes: AI SpinShot, default stabilization, tilt lock, super stable, FP, and vertical FPV.
The phone also allows control of the stabilizer from an on-screen remote. The user can swipe their finger in the direction they want to move it.

According to Honor, the system recognizes ten different gestures. It can nod, move to the rhythm of a song, or lean to simulate thinking.
Additionally, it incorporates over 100 emojis that appear on the screen based on the activity the phone is performing.

The device also includes Yoyo, Honor's artificial intelligence assistant. During a test, it was able to interpret an instruction in English and register an iced tea order, although it is primarily optimized for Chinese.

The Robot Phone features a main camera of 200 MP and a sensor of approximately 1.98 centimeters.
It also incorporates a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens, with a sensor of about 1.81 centimeters and 2.7x optical zoom, as well as a 50 MP ultra-wide camera.

The main camera was developed in collaboration with ARRI. The phone includes a specific mode that allows recording in LOG format and applying cinematic filters.

Honor also incorporated various ARRI cinematic filters to modify the aesthetics of recordings directly from the phone.

The device uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and offers versions with 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM. The battery has a capacity of 7060 mAh, with 120 W wired fast charging and 50 W wireless charging.
The phone runs on MagicOS 10, based on Android 16. The company confirmed that the device will not be launched outside of China.
