If you are affiliated with PAMI and you have lost your credential, you can request it again in a simple and quick way. Whether in digital or printed format, there are different ways to keep your credential up to date.
The social security organization reminded that there are several valid documents to access its services in July 2025. It also detailed which ones are no longer valid and must be replaced.

How to request the new PAMI credential?
The most practical way is through the PAMI app, available on Google Play and App Store. From there, you can download the digital credential and always carry it on your phone.
The option to generate a temporary credential with QR code from the same application is also enabled. This version allows you to validate appointments, pick up medications, and carry out procedures.
What happens if you do not have a credential?
If you do not have any active credential, you can still access medical care by presenting your DNI. This document is valid for all services.

Which PAMI credentials are valid in July 2025?
During this year, the following credentials continue to be accepted for procedures, making appointments, and receiving care:
Digital credential: It is downloaded from the PAMI app and shown directly from your phone.
Plastic credential: It is no longer issued, but it remains valid if you have it.
Temporary credential with ticket: It is printed from self-service terminals at PAMI agencies.

There are documents that must be replaced in order to continue accessing services:
Temporary credential without QR: It must be updated to the version that includes it.
Temporary credential with QR: Valid, but it must be printed. It is also managed from the official website.

Where can you request the physical credential?
If you need the printed version, you can go to a PAMI agency and request it in person. There, they will assist you in generating the corresponding credential.
Remember to bring your DNI and membership number. The procedure is free of charge.
