PAMI updated the list of medications with full coverage for retirees and pensioners. The process can be done online or in person.
If you are a member and meet certain requirements, you can access free treatments at pharmacies across the country. Find out how the system works and what you need to receive the medications.

What does the PAMI free medication benefit include?
The Comprehensive Medical Care Program (PAMI) offers medical and social care for more than 5 million retirees and pensioners. Among its most notable services are:
- Free or discounted medications
- Participating pharmacies throughout the country
- Own health centers with specialized care
- Free vaccination campaigns, such as the flu shot
Requirements to access free medications in PAMI
To have full coverage on medications, members must meet certain conditions:
- Income less than 1.5 minimum wages (or up to 3 if you live with a person with CUD)
- No private health insurance
- Not owning more than one property or top-level vehicles
- Not having a car less than 10 years old (except for CUD)
- Not being the holder of high-value corporate assets

What if you don't meet all the requirements?
If spending on medications represents 15% or more of your income, you can request a subsidy for social reasons. The process remains valid even if you don't meet all the previous points.
Malvinas Veterans
Those who participated in the Malvinas War are exempt from meeting the requirements, although they must complete the corresponding process.
