The episode occurred over the weekend, when the player was authorized to spend time alone with the minors. This instance was part of the re-bonding process that the Justice activated in March, after an incident at the home of Wanda Nara, the girls' mother.
However, Icardi chose not to respect one of the clearest rules: avoiding the presence of his current partner, Eugenia "la China" Suárez. He not only disobeyed this rule but also organized an event at his house with more than 15 people, including the actress.

The statement: without self-criticism and with attacks on Wanda Nara
Amid the media and judicial uproar, Icardi submitted a document through his lawyers. In the document, the forward did not take responsibility for what happened and pointed directly at Wanda Nara, with arguments that mixed personal with legal issues.
The text defended the presence of Suárez and her children by arguing that the girls grew up in a blended family environment. According to his version, upon learning that Eugenia could be present, the minors took it with naturalness and joy.
"The father organized a welcome party for them, with an amusement park included," the lawyers indicated. In that context, they emphasized that everything happened "spontaneously and naturally," and rejected the idea that it was a dramatic situation as, according to them, Wanda claims.
The document even mentioned "misogynistic hatred" from Nara toward Suárez. They argued that for months the relationship with the girls was hindered without objective reasons, but by the "whim" of the mother.
Additionally, the document compared the situation with the girls' relationship with Wanda's current partner, Elián Valenzuela, alias L-Gante. Icardi highlighted that the musician was convicted by the Justice and that he himself acknowledged having addictions, suggesting a double standard in the maternal criteria.
The Justice suspended the reunion and is analyzing the next steps
Despite the player's justification, the Public Guardianship Ministry acted based on the proven facts and not on the versions of the parties. Therefore, the next re-bonding meeting scheduled for this Tuesday was canceled.
So far, it is not known how the judicial process will continue or when Icardi will be able to see his daughters again under the legal framework. The controversy, however, is already established, and the conflict with Wanda Nara seems far from being solved.
