Ignacio González Prieto with new challenges, celebrates his return to the workforce

In a professional turn as a journalist specializing in criminology, a prestigious university offered him a job

The renowned journalist from El Trece, Ignacio González Prieto, recently shared news that brought relief and excitement to his followers. After revealing that he had lost two jobs, he joyfully announced that he will take on a new role as a university professor.

Through his social media, González Prieto expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to join the faculty of the Universidad de la Marina Mercante and the postgraduate programs of the Escuela de Negocios y Estado de las Américas.

A positive turn in his career

"It's an honor to join the academic team and contribute to the training of professionals," he wrote. He also detailed that he will teach courses and training both in Argentina and abroad, covering seminars, diplomas, and training for companies, industries, institutions, and organizations, both in the public and private sectors.

The journalist explained that the classes will be offered in in-person, hybrid, and virtual modalities, and will cover various disciplines such as security, criminal law, communication, criminal investigation, criminology, and criminalistics.

The difficult moment he went through

Before receiving this new opportunity, Ignacio González Prieto had shared with his followers the difficult work situation he was facing. "This year I lost two important jobs, like many Argentinians, but I keep going," he confessed on his Instagram account.

He also reflected on the ups and downs in his career:  "In life, I've had to lose jobs at the best moment several times. Explanations don't always help, excuses are often sought." However, he showed resilience and focus on the future, ensuring that he was studying, planning, and exploring new opportunities.

With a positive attitude, the journalist mentioned that he will start offering conferences, courses, talks, and classes on law, security, criminology, and event hosting for various organizations. He even left his contact information for those who require his services in companies and institutions.

It should be remembered that until March, González Prieto was part of the panel of "Mañanísima,"the program of Carmen Barbieri on El Trece. However, his participation came to an abrupt end with the incorporation of María Belén Ludueña into the channel's morning programming.

Despite the difficulties, the journalist reaffirmed his commitment to work and continuous learning. "I take on this new challenge with responsibility and enthusiasm," he concluded.
