A group of Argentinian Kirchner influencers participated in the international event Sovintern in Moscow, a forum promoted by sectors aligned with global socialism and promoted by the Russian Just Russia party.

Among the Argentinian attendees is the so-called “Influencers Union”, made up of K militants such as Facundo Pérez Ernst, Rodrigo Fronzo and Andrea Cecilia Albarracín, who traveled to take part in the activities of the meeting.

The forum, held in Moscow between April 25 and 29, brought together more than 300 delegates from about 100 political parties and movements from more than 70 countries, with the objective of consolidating an international network of cooperation between left-wing forces.

Under the motto “For a new socialism of the 21st century”, the agenda included debates on geopolitics, digital communication and strategies for global political articulation.

Tributes and pronouncements were also made in support of corrupt women and dictators such as Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, Pedro Castillo and Nicolás Maduro.

The initiative seeks to promote what its organizers define as a “Soviet civilization” and a global network of extreme left-wing political cooperation.

Complaints of disinformation and Russian funding

The participation of Argentine influencers in this type of encounter occurs in a context of strong controversy following the recent revelation of a Russian disinformation network

in Argentina.

According to journalistic investigations based on leaked documents, a network linked to Russian intelligence services financed the publication of numerous articles in local media with the objective of attacking the

government of Javier Milei.

The scheme also included payments to social media accounts and influencers to amplify those contents, in a coordinated strategy of digital disinformation.

According to the investigations, the network, known as “The Company”, allocated hundreds of thousands of dollars and deployed actions in multiple countries, including Argentina.

In this scenario, the presence of Argentinian digital references in an international forum promoted by Russia adds a new chapter to the discussion on the role of social networks, foreign influence and disinformation against the Argentine Government.
