Insecurity in Córdoba: Mayor Passerini's approval rating drops and Milei consolidates
Local pollsters show discontent over insecurity and a consistent improvement in Milei's image in Córdoba
Insecurity leads concerns in Córdoba Capital
In the city of Córdoba, insecurity has once again positioned itself as the main problem for residents. According to recent data collected by local polling firms, 39% of Córdoba residents spontaneously mention this issue astheir greatest concern. Public transportation (8%), filth (7%), and poor road conditions (7%) follow.
This is no minor fact: it marks the failure of local policies to guarantee something as basic as safety on the streets. The perception of abandonment, the lack of effective police presence, and the increase in violent incidents deepen the discontent with municipal management. The absence of a clear direction and the bureaucracy that prevents agile responses seem to be overwhelming the capacity of the local government.

Municipal improvisation
This climate of discontent directly impacts the image of Mayor Daniel Passerini, whose administration is experiencing a period of significant wear. In just five months, his approval rating fell by six points, continuing the pattern observed in recent months regarding his administration. Passerini's "request for resignations" from his cabinet was interpreted by many as a sign of weakness and improvisation.
In contrast, President Milei's image reaches 61% approval, the highest since he took office. The relative exchange rate stability, the removal of currency controls, and his recent victory in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires have strengthened his position.
