Isasi/Burdman revealed that Milei's positive image has never fallen below 50%.

The President keeps approval ratings above 50% and leads national voting intentions

The political consulting firm ISASI/BURDMAN highlighted the strength of President Javier Milei's image, which since the beginning of his administration has never fallen below 50% positive approval and continues to far exceed his negative image.

This was explained by director Viviana Isasi, who emphasized in a conversation with Canal E that the president is experiencing a "honeymoon" period longer than that of his immediate predecessors.

A stable image since the beginning of the administration

Isasi stated that the evolution of Milei's image shows a curve with fluctuations, but without sharp declines. "It's like a saw, but without significant drops," she said. Unlike what happened with the governments of Mauricio Macri and Alberto Fernández, Javier Milei has managed to keep his positive image above the negative throughout the first part of his term.

"The presidential image has never fallen below 50 points. That makes it very particular compared to other presidents," she added.

The economic measures enjoy strong support

According to data collected by the consulting firm, the economic policies adopted by Milei have significant approval. "Most of the measures we analyzed have more than 60% approval," Isasi stated. Among them, fiscal balance stands out as one of the most valued, also with 60% support.

The consulting firm emphasized that the electorate values the fulfillment of the original mandate: to organize the economy, lower inflation, and restore stability. Along these lines, she also mentioned that labor reform is supported by a broad sector of the population.

The confrontational style doesn't affect the President's image

Regarding the President's tone and style, Isasi indicated that they haven't caused a negative impact on his image. "As long as he fulfills the mandates given to him by his voters, the manner doesn't affect his support," she explained. Although there are sectors that feel uncomfortable with his discourse, it is not enough to significantly erode his approval.

She also highlighted a generational change: "New generations, children of economic crises, prioritize stability even at the cost of unpopular measures."

Voting intention and electoral scenario

Looking ahead to the elections, the consulting firm found a favorable scenario for La Libertad Avanza. "Nationally, Milei's coalition has a 41% voting intention compared to 26% for Peronism," she specified. In addition, PRO reaches 6%, provincial forces 5%, the left 3%, and undecided voters account for 15%.

In Buenos Aires province, the numbers also favor the ruling party: "We measured 46% for La Libertad Avanza and PRO, and 34% for Fuerza Patria," Isasi detailed.

The presidential image as a key asset

Finally, Isasi concluded that "the presidential image remains his greatest political asset." The perception of strength and the implementation of an economic program with clear goals reinforce the bond with his electorate, which still appears willing to tolerate the social cost of the adjustment.
