Manuel Adorni took office this Wednesday as the new Chief of Staff, replacing Guillermo Francos, who submitted his resignation a few days after La Libertad Avanza's victory in the legislative elections. Officials and family members of the newly appointed official attended the ceremony.
During the event at Casa Rosada, President Javier Milei addressed Adorni with a brief but forceful message regarding the challenge ahead: "Give it your all, eh".

Yesterday, after announcing his resignation through social media, former Chief of Staff Guillermo Francos and former Minister of the Interior Lisandro Catalán returned to Casa Rosada to hold a transition meeting with their successors.
The meeting took place in the offices they had occupied until last Friday and was attended by the new Chief of Staff, Manuel Adorni, and the appointed liaison with the governors, Diego Santilli.

Francos managed to enter and leave an hour and a half later through the Hall of Busts, avoiding making statements to the press. Meanwhile, Lisandro Catalán spoke with journalists in the Patio de las Palmeras, where he explained: "I came to meet with Diego Santilli to update him on the current state of the ministry, the pending issues, and to assist him in this stage that he will continue", the former official explained.
"We are very pleased because we carried out the electoral process, which was the main responsibility of the Ministry of the Interior in terms of administrative management", Catalán added.
