Javier Milei announced a $200 billion peso fund to assist Bahía Blanca.

In response to the severe damage caused by the storm that hit Bahía Blanca, President Javier Milei toured the city and witnessed firsthand the magnitude of the material and human losses.

Consequently,  he announced the creation of a special fund of $200 billion pesos aimed at directly, proportionally, and without intermediaries assisting those affected.

Direct and transparent assistance for those affected

According to the Office of the President of the Nation, the fund will be managed by the Federal Emergency Agency, under the Ministry of National Security. This ensures that aid reaches without delays or bureaucratic filters. The Government highlighted that the measure is only possible thanks to the fiscal balance that Milei's administration has defended  "to the last consequences"  and will continue to protect.

"This decision reflects the National Government's commitment to Argentines, regardless of political color", they highlighted from the Casa Rosada.

The Executive Branch remains present in the emergency

From the very beginning,  the Executive Branch has deployed its resources and teams at the disaster site. The ministries of National Security, Defense, Human Capital, and Economy are working tirelessly so that each affected person can return home as soon as possible.

The Government emphasized that the priority is to assist those who have lost everything, supporting both the affected and their families in this difficult time.

Milei denounces the political use of the tragedy by Kicillof

In the statement released on X, the President strongly condemned Governor Axel Kicillof's attempt to  "use the pain of the people of Buenos Aires for electoral purposes". According to the National Executive, the provincial leader's attitude shows that  "the caste is willing to do anything to gain political advantage."

"The special fund arranged by President Milei quadruples the resources that the Governor allocated to the emergency", they emphasized from the Government, making clear the difference in commitment between the two administrations.

A Government that assists regardless of political color

From the Casa Rosada, they emphasized that the National Government will continue working for and for all Argentines, relying on the effort of the citizens who have supported the country in recent months. They reaffirmed that aid will arrive regardless of the province or the local administration in charge.

"The priority is the people, not political speculation", Executive officials stated.
