President Javier Milei once again expressed his admiration for Lionel Messi and launched harsh criticisms against figures and communicators linked to Kirchnerism who, he claimed, attack the captain of the Argentine National Team for ideological reasons.

During an interview with El Observador, the president stated that he finds it incomprehensible that there are people unable to enjoy the talent of the best footballer in the world due to their political positions.

Milei questioned the "hatred" against Lionel Messi

The President maintained that the rejection of Messi stems from an extreme ideological stance and lamented that some sectors cannot recognize his sporting greatness.

"I cannot understand how the hatred of these people prevents them from enjoying that talent."

In that context, he also targeted those who spread attacks and false versions about the Argentine captain.

"That despicable mercenary of news, who also threatened him, or the wannabe journalist with the false news about Messi's father."

The statements come after years in which various figures linked to Kirchnerism questioned Messi or minimized his sporting achievements, especially before the Argentine National Team was crowned in the Qatar World Cup.

The President showered Messi with praise again

In addition to defending him from criticism, Milei again highlighted the footballing level of the Argentine captain and asserted that he is far above any usual parameter.

"It's not normal. He is six standard deviations above the average. We are talking about something extraordinary."

The president even resorted to a statistical comparison to describe the magnitude of Messi's talent and concluded with a phrase that quickly went viral on social media.

"I have no words to describe it, he breaks the laws of nature."

The statements were made while recalling the historic campaign of the Argentine National Team and the achievement of the world title, a conquest that, as he expressed, brought him immense joy as a fan.

Milei's admiration for the Argentine captain

This is not the first time Milei has publicly expressed his admiration for Lionel Messi. In various interviews, he has highlighted both his sporting abilities and his discipline and capacity to maintain an excellent performance for over a decade.

With these new statements, the President once again positioned the Argentine captain as a symbol of merit, effort, and exceptional talent, while questioning those who, due to ideological differences, continue to discredit one of the greatest idols in the history of Argentine sports.
