Milei projected a “century of the Americas”, from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, and highlighted the relevance of the South Atlantic as a central stage for future strategic disputes, linked to trade routes, natural resources and maritime
sovereignty.
In this framework, he anticipated that he will send initiatives to strengthen coordination between security and intelligence forces, with the objective of protecting national interests in the face of growing global competition.
Defense of fiscal adjustment and macroeconomic order
At the economic level, the president defended the adjustment implemented since the beginning of his administration. He argued that the main problem in assuming was the fiscal deficit and the monetary issue that fueled inflation

“In our first month, we eliminated a fiscal deficit of 5% of GDP,” he stressed, while assuring that this shift allowed us to start a stabilization process without resorting to expropriation, default or hyperinflation.
He also described a complex social scenario at the beginning of his term of office, with high levels of poverty and educational deterioration, and argued that macroeconomic order was an indispensable condition for any structural improvement.

The President announced “nine months of structural reforms”, with packages of initiatives developed by each ministry for legislative treatment.
