The Argentine president assured that he has been working with at least ten countries

President Javier Milei is working on planning a political meeting with a regional and international scope that would have Argentina as its venue and that would seek to bring together right-wing leaders.
The initiative aims to create a common space from which to articulate an ideological response to 21st-century socialism and to what the Argentine government defines as the "woke" agenda.
According to information that has emerged in recent days, the project is still at an initial stage, but it already includes holding a summit on Argentine soil during the year 2026.

The intention is for the event to serve as the starting point for a strategic alliance between countries that share a common and critical view of certain Latin American governments and of left-wing ideological currents responsible for the economic and social deterioration of the region.
In this context, the Argentine president targets both communist dictatorships such as those of Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, countries governed respectively by Miguel Díaz-Canel, Daniel Ortega, and Nicolás Maduro. At the same time, governments of the far left such as those of Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and Uruguay are also included, under the leadership of Lula da Silva, Gustavo Petro, Claudia Sheinbaum, and Yamandú Orsi.

Milei made this vision explicit in an interview given this Tuesday to journalist Andrés Oppenheimer of CNN en Español. There he stated: "It would seem that the region has awakened from the nightmare of 21st-century socialism. People are discovering that it is indeed a farce, that all the do-gooder veneer is nothing more and nothing less than a deceitful, misleading narrative so that a group of outlaws can take power and impoverish the population, since every place where they apply it is a failure".

The president also anticipated the formation of a group of ideologically aligned countries. "We have not given it a name, but there is already a bloc of ten countries that have been working together. We are trying to create a bloc so that our proposal is to stand up to the cancer of 21st-century socialism or the woke, not to mention the more extreme versions", he pointed out.
Regarding international positioning, the potential bloc would seek to align itself with the foreign policy of the United States under the presidency of Donald Trump. Those close to the president emphasize that Milei is emerging as the natural leader of this space and that the summit could bring together figures such as José Antonio Kast (Chile), Rodrigo Paz (Bolivia), Daniel Noboa (Ecuador), Santiago Peña (Paraguay), Nayib Bukele (El Salvador), and José Jeri (Peru).
The relationship between Milei and Bukele is identified as one of the pillars of this regional coordination, given that both leaders maintain a fluid relationship. In recent months, the Argentine president has already held several bilateral meetings with some of the leaders mentioned, within the framework of a strategy aimed at strengthening political cooperation and consolidating a common front focused on the defense of private property and capitalism.
