Javier Milei spoke about soccer: he praised Ramón Díaz, Messi, Scaloni, and the national team
In his interview with Fantino on Neura, the President of the Nation expressed his admiration for the River legend and highlighted the Rosario star and the National Team's coach
Javier Milei returned to his soccer version in Neura. During his interview with Alejandro Fantino, he expressed his devotion to Bilardism and gave strong praise to figures like Ramón Díaz, Lionel Messi, and Lionel Scaloni.
The Argentine president elaborated on his way of viewing both soccer and politics, drawing a parallel with the characteristic style of Carlos Salvador Bilardo. "We play inside the field. We are Bilardism one by one, play on the field. Then come the idiots who talk about the institution. Within the rules, everything," he stated.
In relation to the doctor, Milei referred to the criticism he received before the 1986 World Cup. "Did you see the amount of aberrant things the press said to Bilardo before the '86 World Cup Why was there a flag later that said 'Sorry Bilardo'?"

Later during that conversation, Milei asked Fantino: "Who gave the country the greatest joy in soccer?", to which the journalist replied: "Bilardo and Scaloni", receiving an enthusiastic response from the president: "Look at that. Go ahead and mess with Scaloni, that kid is Gardel. He put up with everything. He supported him, Samuel, Aimar, I'm a crazy fan of Messi".
He also spoke firmly about the current captain of the National Team. "When all the local journalistic crap was throwing dirt at Messi,my videos are in the 'Milei's Office' talking about him being the best player of all time. Come and tell me. I've never seen anyone play like he does, he's superlative", he expressed.

Additionally, he did not leave aside his admiration for the world champion coach: "Scaloni is infinitely better than me. I could never get people to celebrate like he did with the World Cup", and he added a personal wish: "I wish I could give Argentines such joy as the National Team did. I would love to".

The admiration for "Pelado" Díaz
At one point in the interview, when asked which River player he detested, the name Ramón Díaz came up. Milei surprised with his response of admiration. "Ramón seemed like a genius to me, he understood the folklore of soccer like no one else", commented the president.

In turn, with visible emotion, he added: "I met him. He's a genius, he seems like a superlative guy. He has an unbelievable mind", and even expressed his intention to meet him again. "I'm waiting to go to Brazil to see him", he added.
And the praise for the River idol didn't stop there. Milei highlighted his intelligence: "I had a meeting with Ramón and the kid is a genius. His mind works like a rocket, Ramón is a total genius, he understands everything".
Finally, Milei recalled his first soccer memory linked to the man from La Rioja: "Ramón is not a normal person, he's above average. I first saw him playing with Maradona in the 1979 Argentine National Team that won in Japan".
