President Javier Milei is participating this Friday in the America Business Forum (ABF), considered the most important business forum on the American continent. The head of state is accompanied by the Secretary General of the Presidency, Karina Milei, the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, and the new Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno, as part of his visit to the United States.

The event is being held at the Kaseya Center in Miami—home of the Miami Heat—and brings together global figures from politics, finance, sports, and entertainment. With an investment of 15 million dollars and the backing of the Saudi sovereign fund Public Investment Fund (PIF), the gathering aims to become the "largest ideas summit on the planet", according to its founder, Uruguayan entrepreneur Ignacio González Castro.
The forum's agenda and Milei's presentation
Milei will speak at 5:45 p.m. (Argentina time)—3:45 p.m. in Miami—with a direct 45-minute address to the audience, a format reserved only for the main figures of the event, among them former U.S. President Donald Trump, who spoke the previous day.

Throughout the day, Eric Schmidt (former CEO of Google), Jamie Dimon (chairman of JPMorgan Chase), Serena Williams, Patrick Bet-David, Steve Witkoff, and former tennis player Rafael Nadal, who will be in charge of closing the event, are also participating.
Tickets to attend the forum range from 100 to 10,000 dollars, although the organizers distributed discount coupons to 5,000 attendees to facilitate access. Due to the high profile of the guests, Miami Mayor Francis Suárez implemented a strong security operation together with local and federal agencies.

Yesterday, the ABF featured the participation of leaders such as María Corina Machado, recent 2025 Nobel Peace Prize winner; Lionel Messi; and Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA. This year, the relocation of the venue from Punta del Este to Miami marked a new stage of internationalization for the event, which since 2017 has become a key space for exchange between the business and political worlds.
Who is Ignacio González Castro, the forum's creator
The organizer, Ignacio González Castro, is a 34-year-old Uruguayan entrepreneur and founder of America Business. He studied Business Administration at ORT University and was inspired by his time at Babson College (Boston) to create a forum that combines personal stories of leadership, innovation, and business success.

After holding the first editions in Uruguay, González Castro consolidated the format with high-level audiovisual productions and interviews with regional leaders. During the pandemic, he adapted the concept to the television series El Legado and later promoted the America Rockstars festival, which merges business, music, and communication.
