The latest auction by Consignaciones Córdoba, held last Monday at the Sociedad Rural de Jesús María in the northern part of the province, saw livestock reach more than interesting prices.
Steers weighing 300 to 350 kilograms (661 to 772 pounds), the consumption category, sold for up to $3,800 per live kilogram, which is 8.18% higher than the $3,700 offered the previous week.
Meanwhile, calves weighing 100 to 150 kilograms (220 to 331 pounds) were priced at $5,200 per kilogram, representing an increase of 2.7% compared to the $5,000 per kilogram paid at the previous auction.

Livestock experts continue to highlight the sector's strong performance, with firm prices in contrast to previous years.
Exports are driving the market, as are the rains and the fact that some producers are holding back animals.
Javier Milei's government measures have also played a role, removing restrictions and quotas on exports. Moreover, the export quota to the United States was quadrupled.
According to reports, 1,300 head of cattle entered the market, 6.56% more than the 1,220 animals presented the previous week.
