Jorge Macri criticized Manuel Adorni and stated that the chainsaw 'is dangerous'
One month before the legislative elections take place, the head of the Buenos Aires government came out to defend the wastefulness
There is one month and five days left until the legislative elections in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, and the candidates along with the main party leaders have already entered the decisive stage of the campaign.
In that context, the mayor of Buenos Aires, Jorge Macri, launched an unusual criticism at the main candidate of La Libertad Avanza, Manuel Adorni, and, in a warning worthy of a kirchnerista, stated: "You have to be careful, if the chainsaw is your only tool, it's dangerous".
His statements came a few hours after the current presidential spokesperson posted a campaign spot on social media accompanied by the president Javier Milei. "A ruler's toolbox has to have many tools: computers for the kids, tomographs, scalpels, a backhoe to do hydraulic works, also the tool of the hug, of help, of being close to those who need it", added Macri, in an attempt to justify the waste.

"I can't explain the behavior of La Libertad Avanza, they have to explain it, as I don't understand Adorni's positions saying that we hired more people. That's a lie", indicated Jorge Macri.
Adorni's campaign spot
In the spot, exclusively starring Milei and Adorni, both are in charge of delivering the campaign message. The spokesperson begins by addressing an imaginary Buenos Aires voter: "You know that Milei's model works. In a year and a half, we did what everyone said was impossible. We put an end to inflation, an end to the blockades, we ran the chainsaw through the State and put an end to the caste's scams".
Then Milei takes the floor, stating: "We did it with determination and going all the way, because in front there is an enemy that needs Argentina to fail to keep winning".

Adorni continues pointing out that the City of Buenos Aires is going through a moment of stagnation: "The city is also in danger. We have a great city. But it stagnated. After twenty years, those who govern the city are losing their way. Taxes increased, the number of officials increased, spending increased but the city doesn't advance and when things don't advance they start going backward", he launches, in direct reference to the PRO's management.
With a retrospective look, Adorni concludes: "We already learned from the past. If we don't go all the way, change doesn't happen, that's why we're going all the way with Milei's model". The final phrase of the video is said by the president: "Adorni is my voice in the city".
