Amid the controversies surrounding his daughter Morena Rial, who was recently released by the Justice, Jorge Rial chose to disconnect from the media noise and took refuge in the Caribbean.

Vacation in Cuba and participation in the Festival del Habano

During his stay on the island, Rial shared moments of relaxation and enjoyment on social media. On his Instagram account, the journalist showcased his participation in the 25th Festival del Habano, an event that celebrates the various varieties of Cuban cigars. "First night in Havana. Presentation of Romeo y Julieta Amantes. Dream fulfilled. Friends and cigars. Cuban rum and son. Total happiness," commented the host of Argenzuela (C5N), while he was seen enjoying the experience.

Additionally, Rial took the opportunity to tour the tobacco plantations and observe the manufacturing process of the cigars he so enjoys in his private life. He also visited the Capitolio of Havana, sharing with his followers: "Life is beautiful."

A break amid the scandal

This break wasn't the only one Rial enjoyed this year. In January, the journalist had interrupted his vacation in Mexico due to the legal problems of his daughter, who was detained by the Argentine Justice under suspicions of being part of a criminal gang.

Despite the scandal caused by Morena's recent appearance on television and the tense accusations with Carmen Barbieri, Rial kept his focus on resting and continued with his trip. The tranquility in Cuba allowed the host to disconnect from family issues and distance himself from the country.
