During Sunday's broadcast of Almorzando con Juana, Juana Viale surprised the audience by bringing up one of the most unusual visits in the history of her grandmother Mirtha Legrand's show. It was the interview that the diva conducted with Yiya Murano, the famous "Monserrat murderer," more than 15 years ago.
The conversation arose due to the presence of "El Purre" as a guest at the table. The actor is part of a series inspired by Murano's life, who was convicted of poisoning three women and spent 16 years in prison.
The woman who brought cookies to the studio
"I remember that she came to my grandmother's show. I don't know if you saw that video... she brought cookies," Juana said, leaving her guests speechless. The image of a serial killer handing out sweets on a television set quickly sparked reactions.
Actor Esteban Prol couldn't help but ask her if she had tried any of the cookies Murano offered that time. Laughing, the host was emphatic: "I totally judge you! I wouldn't eat a cookie, not in a million years!"

The remark caused laughter at the table, although it also left the unsettling anecdote of that televised lunch with a woman who had made police headlines lingering in the air.
