Juanicar left the Big Brother 2026 house by his own decision: what were the reasons

The house of Big Brother 2026 experienced one of its most emotional nights since the start of the competition. Juanicar decided to leave the Telefe reality show after receiving news about his mother's health, who remains hospitalized.

The decision came after production called him to the confessional to convey a message sent by his family. In this way, the participant became the third contestant to voluntarily leave the program for family reasons, following the exits of Yipio and Andrea del Boca.

During the broadcast, the voice of Big Brother informed Juanicar about the situation his mother was going through and the request made by his family.

"I have to tell you something, it's nothing to be alarmed about. Your mom is experiencing a very minor health issue, but your family asked us to let you know. They would prefer that you leave the game, I have the responsibility to convey this information to you", he explained.

The participant's response was immediate and left no room for doubt. "I'm going with my mom", he replied. With that decision, he ended his time on the reality show to support his family.

The farewell that moved the house

The news deeply impacted the other participants, who bid farewell to Juanicar with hugs and tears.

One of the first to speak was Yipio, one of his closest friends in the house.

"I know how this works, it's not serious if they hadn't told you before. Your family needs you, don't worry. I love you," she said to try to reassure him.

For her part, Zilli sought to convey optimism. "You're going to give your mom a kiss and you'll be back," she expressed.

The exit also moved Pincoya and Luana, who couldn't hold back their tears.

After the farewell, the Uruguayan participant went alone to one of the rooms to cry, visibly affected by the departure of someone she considered one of her main supports in the game.

Juanicar's exit also sparked a discussion in the studio about his family's decision to ask him to leave the competition.

Eliana Guercio questioned that determination. "I think it's selfish," the panelist opined.

In the same vein, Gastón Trezeguet expressed his views, while Ceferino Reato supported the family's stance.

For his part, Santiago del Moro avoided taking sides and explained that he did not have enough information about the participant's mother's health.

"I can't give an opinion because I don't know how the mom is doing," the host stated.
