Karina Milei and Ritondo meet at the Casa Rosada to establish a united front in Buenos Aires Province.

La Libertad Avanza and PRO are negotiating an electoral alliance for September and October

In a clear sign of progress in the negotiations, Karina Milei and Sebastián Pareja, key figures of La Libertad Avanza (LLA), will receive Cristian Ritondo and Diego Santilli, two central figures of PRO Buenos Aires, this Monday at Casa Rosada to define the terms of a common front in the province of Buenos Aires.

This meeting marks the first concrete step after weeks of phone conversations and informal exchanges. Although there are still no final decisions, both parties agree that the meeting could unlock key aspects of the agreement to jointly confront Kirchnerism in the local elections in September and the national elections in October.

The dinner between Milei and Macri, a gesture that reactivated the negotiation

The meeting was preceded by a private dinner between Javier Milei and Mauricio Macri at Quinta de Olivos, which revived contacts between the technical teams of both groups. "It was an excellent meeting," PRO sources revealed, which delegated the leadership of the political dialogue to Ritondo, the party's president in the province.

"After this, there will surely be news in terms of activities and new meetings," sources close to Ritondo told Infobae.

Ritondo's good rapport with the so-called "Iron Triangle" —Karina Milei, Javier Milei, and Santiago Caputo— is considered a central asset to advance the unity strategy. There is still no meeting planned with the President, who delegates party tasks to his sister Karina.

What will the electoral front be like?

The idea of creating a front under the name La Libertad Avanza is on the table. LLA is willing to be flexible with its identity for the legislative and municipal elections, although there are no plans for "transfers" of leaders between lists, as Ritondo warned. According to estimates within the ruling party, the violet ballot in October will be the axis of unity.

The libertarian congress in La Plata, Karina's other bet

Meanwhile, Karina Milei is working on organizing the libertarian congress in La Plata, an event that will take place at the end of June, days before the closing of alliances on July 9. The event aims to show political strength, bring together key officials from the national government, and position LLA as an alternative to Axel Kicillof.

The meeting will be held at the Vonharv de Gonnet hall, with the participation of the national Cabinet, allied mayors, and Buenos Aires leaders. Among those confirmed are Guillermo Francos, Martín Menem, Diego Valenzuela, Fernanda Astorino, Alejandro Carrancio, and Carlos Curestis.

In addition, the party's sectional coordinators will be present: Andrea Vera, Analía Corvino, Juanes Osaba, Gustavo Bories, Gastón Abonjo, Franca Grippo, Carlos Calvella, and Matías de Urraza.

With this dual strategy —alliance with PRO and demonstration of strength in La Plata—, Karina Milei aims to consolidate La Libertad Avanza's structure in the country's largest district.
