The Secretary General of the Presidency, Karina Milei, led a meeting this afternoon at Casa Rosada with the elected deputies and senators of La Libertad Avanza (LLA).
The meeting marked the beginning of the new parliamentary stage that will begin on December 10, with a strengthened ruling party in both chambers and a clear focus on the introduction and approval of structural reforms.
The meeting took place in the Salón Héroes de Malvinas, at the government headquarters on Balcarce 50. It began around 1:00 p.m. and lasted for almost two hours. The president's sister, Javier Milei, presided over the session, accompanied by the newly appointed Chief of Cabinet, Manuel Adorni; the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Martín Menem; and the former national deputy and parliamentary law expert, Eduardo Menem.

"We brought him so he could lay down the legislative doctrine," stated members of the ruling party. Eduardo Menem is recognized for his career in Congress and for being the author of the book Derecho Procesal Parliamentario, considered a reference work in the legislative field.
About 60 deputies and senators recently elected by LLA attended the meeting to receive guidelines and an introduction to the legislative dynamics that the ruling party will implement in the new stage. With an expanded presence in Congress, the libertarian group plans to promote a deep tax and labor reform during the extraordinary sessions.
Senator-elect Patricia Bullrich also participated, who is being considered as a possible president of the libertarian bloc in the Upper House, and the current head of the LLA caucus in the Chamber of Deputies, Gabriel Bornoroni. According to sources present, Bornoroni was confirmed as the leader of the ruling bloc in the lower house.

"We are very eager to work. Those of us who are young in politics are here to bring a fresh perspective and we are very enthusiastic," said elected deputy Karen Reichardt while speaking with accredited journalists at Casa Rosada.
In the same vein, Buenos Aires deputy Alejandro Carrancio stated: "We hope that in this second stage we can move forward with the projects requested by the President. We are in a position to call for extraordinary sessions and to do whatever Milei decides."
At the end of the meeting, each legislator received a bag with the La Libertad Avanza logo, which contained a copy of the National Constitution and the Rules of the Chamber of Deputies.
