More than 180 boys participated in Kempes Jam 2025, the first Provincial Meeting of Urban Schools promoted by Escuelas CBAX under the umbrella of the Córdoba Sports Agency. Delegations from Villa María, Río Cuarto, Alta Gracia, La Cumbre, Carlos Paz, Río Ceballos, Colonia Caroya, San Francisco, and Córdoba Capital were present. The event showcased the extensive network that currently supports urban disciplines in the province.
The meeting made it possible to observe the diversity that shapes the local urban ecosystem, which includes skateboarding, aggressive roller, longboard, parkour, BMX and other similar sports. The initiative consolidated a space where the schools interacted with collaborative dynamics and shared enthusiasm. Each discipline contributed practices, technical demonstrations, and moments of exchange among the different groups.
The venues at Parque del Kempes, such as the Street Plaza, Parkour Park, Pumptrack, and BMX areas, welcomed hundreds of young people who alternated challenges, tricks, and circuits. Families, coaches, and institutional leaders accompanied the participants throughout the day. The closing with prizes and raffles crowned a day that combined sports practice, group enjoyment, and a strong sense of community.

An urban community that grows and strengthens with every meeting
The turnout exceeded expectations with more than 180 registrants distributed among skate, parkour, aggressive roller, BMX, and longboard, reaffirming the expansion of these disciplines. Beyond the numbers, the meeting stood out for the shared identity that is consolidated year after year among schools, teachers, and students. Kempes Jam demonstrated how urban sports foster motivation, belonging, and individual growth.
This was expressed by Professor Agostina Silveti, who accompanied her group throughout the day to observe the year's progress: "Urban schools are a community. This event is precisely for them to get to know each other and create a bond that allows them to keep growing. They help with body awareness, self-control, and the development of skills in general. We're surprised by how they progress throughout the year, gaining physical, social, and mental confidence."
Meanwhile, Francisco Torres Gil, leader of the CBAX program, highlighted the role of the day as a space for discovery and sports continuity: "We're at the closing of the schools, a space for recreation so that children can explore countless urban sports such as BMX, slackline, skate, climbing, longboard, and others. Kempes Jam aims for them to find one that motivates them to continue, to grow, and to keep discovering. The schools are open all year; next year we're waiting for you, because 2026 is coming with everything."
The first edition of Kempes Jam made it clear that Córdoba is home to a diverse and expanding urban community, which finds in these spaces a driving force to reinforce its identity. The day brought together recreational practices, technical learning, and connections that strengthen the journey of those who are starting out in these disciplines. The sustained growth of the urban ecosystem indicates a favorable outlook for future editions of the meeting.
