The French clothing chain Kiabi opened its first store in Argentina this Tuesday, with a location of approximately 1,500 square meters spread over four floors at Florida 313, in the heart of Buenos Aires' Microcentro, and officially began an ambitious expansion process that includes new openings in Rosario and various points across the country.

The arrival represents a new addition to the Argentine market from a large-scale international brand. Founded in France in 1978 by Patrick Mulliez, Kiabi currently has 648 stores in 37 countries and develops a model focused on affordable clothing for women, men, children, and babies.

The first Argentine branch distributes its offerings across the different levels of the building. The ground floor is mainly dedicated to women's clothing, while the basement focuses on the men's collection, and the upper floors include clothing for babies, children, pregnant women, and expectant mothers.

One of the main attractions of the chain is its prices. According to the values available during the opening and on its digital platform, women's jeans can be found starting at approximately $25,000, while shirts start at $20,990, sweatshirts from around $17,000, and sweaters from $25,000.

In the children's category, garments start at around $5,000, with t-shirts at that level, long-sleeve shirts around $9,500, sweatshirts from $17,000, and pants starting at approximately $25,000.

The company also bets on a wide variety of sizes. For women, the collections range from XXS to 4XL, while in men's clothing there are options up to 7XL.

During the opening day, the first 100 people accessed discounts of between 30% and 60%. Additionally, the company offers the possibility to finance purchases in 3 and 6 installments with all banks and has already launched its online store with shipping to different points in the country.

The arrival was driven by Grupo One, composed of Manuel Antelo, Pedro Aguirre Saravia, and Sabine Mulliez, the same holding that led the arrival of Decathlon to the Argentine market in 2025.

The expansion will continue before the end of the year with a branch of approximately 1,200 square meters in Portal Rosario, while another opening is planned for Alto Palermo in 2027. The business objective aims to develop around ten stores in the first two or three years and reach about 20 branches within a five-year horizon.
