The Kirchnerist apologized on behalf of the Buenos Aires PJ and aligned with the Brazilian regime

The governor of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, desperately defended the government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and questioned President Javier Milei, after the president directly accused sectors linked to the Brazilian regime of having financed part of an international hate campaign against Argentina.

Instead of demanding explanations in the face of such a serious accusation, the Kirchnerist leader decided to contact Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira to convey his rejection of Milei's statements, support for the campaign, and apologize on behalf of the Buenos Aires Justicialist Party.

“Yesterday we watched, with secondhand embarrassment, President Milei offend and insult the government of Brazil, its president, and an entire country,” Kicillof wrote on his social media, where he also stated that from the province of Buenos Aires they defend "regional integration".

The governor went even further by attempting to discredit the President in front of a foreign official. “Today I communicated with Mauro Vieira, the Foreign Minister of Brazil, on behalf of the Buenos Aires PJ, to convey that Milei does not represent the feelings of the Argentine people,” he asserted.

Kicillof's communism was not limited to questioning a foreign policy decision, but sought to speak on behalf of all Argentine society while communicating directly with the government of another country. An attitude that exhibits the historical subordination of Kirchnerism to international socialism.

The Buenos Aires governor also claimed that Milei's statements could jeopardize investments, exports, and jobs, and accused the President of acting to “support a candidate at Trump's request.” However, he did not refer to the specific complaint made against the Brazilian government nor did he demand that Lula clarify his potential involvement in political operations against Argentina.

The episode exposes the discursive contradiction of the governor, who invoked sovereignty and national interests while communicating with a foreign power to discredit the Argentine head of state.

Kicillof not only defended Lula's regime but acted as its internal spokesperson and tried to establish that Milei lacks legitimacy to represent Argentina, in an attempt to undermine Argentine institutions.
