The recent declassification of documents and videos about unidentified anomalous phenomena by the United States government has reignited the debate about UFOs and the possible existence of extraterrestrial life. Amid this wave of global interest, the program So What? from Vorterix decided to invite a specialist to discuss the topic, although everything ended in the least expected way.
The show hosted by Guille Aquino featured a hilarious blooper when he confused a urologist with a ufologist during a live video call. The situation occurred when the panel was trying to delve into theories related to aliens and unidentified flying objects, currently known as UAP by their English initials.
According to the Royal Spanish Academy, ufology is the study of UFOs and phenomena related to extraterrestrial life. In contrast, urology is the branch of medicine specialized in the urinary tract and the male reproductive system. However, the similarity between the two words led to an unusual confusion within the program's production.
“Well, we have a specialist. Where do you study to know so much about aliens?” asked Guille Aquino as a man appeared on screen from what seemed to be a medical office. With evident surprise and some discomfort, the guest quickly responded: “I am a urologist, not a ufologist. It's similar, but it's not the same.”
