Why Laurita Fernández decided to end her show
The artist explained that the show is coming to its natural end: "It's not continuing, we're finishing at the end of the year. It's a show that was great, but you have to know when to take a break. It's good to change and renew yourself," she said.
The decision comes after several seasons on the air and in a context where the show was not nominated for the Martín Fierro Awards. "I don't feel like we're doing a bad job. The audience chooses us and that makes us happy."
What Laurita said about her professional future
Fernández revealed that after the end of the show, she will dedicate herself to the theater season. "I'm finishing at the end of the year and I'm going to the season. I don't have any confirmed destination on television," she said.
She also denied having had talks to join El Trece, where she worked on several occasions. "I wouldn't talk about hypothetical cases, neither in television nor in theater. I was part of El Trece's afternoons for years and it's a time slot that you have to constantly seek," she said.
Could she host Los 8 escalones?
When asked about the possibility of replacing Pampita as host of Los 8 escalones, Laurita preferred not to make any statements. "I wouldn't talk about that, those are things that aren't confirmed," she said, downplaying the rumors.
