The liberal youth of Latin America continues to gain prominence and strengthen its ties with the main political figures of the new right in the region. This was demonstrated during a tour of the Southern Cone featuring Alfonso Muñoz Ruiz and Miguel Alonso Cancino, representatives of the Spanish liberal movement.
The tour included high-level meetings in Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile, where they were able to meet with presidents Javier Milei and José Antonio Kast, two of the figures having the greatest impact on the expansion of the ideas of freedom in Latin America. The youth presented the Free Youth Award from the Austrian Libertarian Association to the Argentine president.

One of the central moments of the visit took place in Buenos Aires, where Alfonso Muñoz Ruiz was privately received by President Javier Milei.
During the meeting, Muñoz Ruiz and representatives of the liberal organizations presented Milei with the Free Youth Award of Latin America, a distinction awarded this year in recognition of his leadership and defense of the ideas of freedom.
The liberal leader later highlighted the opportunity to present to the Argentine President the work developed by the organizations both nationally and internationally.

The meeting also allowed for firsthand insight into Milei's perspective on the present and future of the liberal movement, at a time when the political and economic model promoted by the Argentine Government is generating increasing interest among youth from different countries.
They also met with José Antonio Kast in Chile
The tour continued in Santiago, where Alfonso Muñoz Ruiz and Miguel Alonso Cancino were received by the president of Chile, José Antonio Kast.
