The list of La Libertad Avanza for the legislative elections in CABA

The main names that will join the presidential spokesperson on the LLA list have been announced

The presidential spokesperson, Manuel Adorni, will head the list of La Libertad Avanza (LLA), the party led by President Javier Milei, for the legislative elections in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA), scheduled for May 18.

In this context, it was announced that the list will be composed of a team of economists, lawyers, and political leaders who seek to deepen the libertarian project in the City.

Among the main names joining Adorni are fintech specialist lawyer Solana Pelayo, economist Nicolás Pakgojz, and Andrea Freguia, administrative secretary of the LLA legislative bloc in CABA.

The list will also include the bullrichist Juan Pablo Arenaza, who seeks to renew his mandate, Lucía Montenegro, Leonardo Seifert, Rebeca Fleitas, Diego Vartabedian, Marina Kienast, Juan Ignacio Fernández, Patricia Holzman, and Marcelo Ernst, among others.

With this list, La Libertad Avanza is preparing to fight the electoral battle in the City, aiming to consolidate its presence in the Buenos Aires Legislature and continue with the reforms promoted at the national level by Javier Milei's administration.

Adorni's confirmation

Adorni's name had been strongly rumored for weeks, especially since the Buenos Aires City Mayor, Jorge Macri, decided to separate the city elections from the national ones. The great bet of the ruling party in 2025 is to challenge PRO for control of the district it has managed for the last 18 years.

The spokesperson himself had indicated in recent interviews that he would have no problem running if the President required it. "I'll be in the role he assigns me. I'll support the ideas. If he asks me for something, I have to comply or go home," he stated in an interview with TN.

His close circle had been assuring for weeks that he had no interest in competing. They argued that it was a minor position for his rank and aspirations, and they saw no reason to get involved in a contest that will be highly contested with PRO.

Nevertheless, he kept his word and will run as a candidate for La Libertad Avanza to bring the model and ideas that President Javier Milei is implementing at the national level to the City.
