President Javier Milei will return this Wednesday, September 23, for the third time, to the podium of the United Nations General Assembly, where he will deliver a speech focused on Argentina's claim for sovereignty over the Falkland Islands, his criticisms of the functioning of the international organization, and the defense of a development of Artificial Intelligence with minimal restrictions.
The president arrived in New York on Tuesday to fulfill an intense official agenda, which began with his participation in a summit of the Shield of the Americas, where he coincided again with Donald Trump. During the meeting, the Republican leader reaffirmed his closeness to the libertarian government and described the result obtained by Milei in the 2025 legislative elections as a “great victory.”
Previously, the Argentine President had highlighted Trump's presentation before the Assembly and stated: “He is so many steps ahead that few understand the magnitude of his leadership.”
