Karina Milei formalized the coalition with PRO to challenge the power of Kirchnerism in Buenos Aires province

This Wednesday afternoon, La Libertad Avanza (LLA) and PROformalized an electoral alliance in the province of Buenos Aires ahead of the upcoming elections on September 7. The presentation of the new front, which will retain the name "La Libertad Avanza", was led by Karina Milei, Secretary General of the Presidency, at a press conference also attended by Buenos Aires representatives from both groups.

The libertarian leader highlighted the agreement as a key step to confront the main opposition force in the province. "As president of the LLA Party at the national level, I want to thank everyone who is here. I want to thank each of them for their greatness in setting aside their individual interests to unite forces and go against the true enemy, which is Kirchnerism", she stated.

In that regard, she pointed out that Kirchnerism "is entrenched" in Buenos Aires territory, but warned that now it will have to face "a much stronger enemy". She concluded: "We are going to fight the battle and we are going to win to end it forever. This is Kirchnerism or freedom".

Together with Karina Milei was Sebastián Pareja, LLA president in the province, who emphasized the political value of the understanding. "This is a very special day for us. We are filled with pride to have worked with the people from PRO, thinking of a different dynamic for Buenos Aires Province. An agreement based on the ideas of freedom", he stated.

The leader also emphasized the process that led to the formation of the coalition: "We are here to formalize work that has been ongoing for a long time. This highlights a common feeling. There is no greater effort, because this is the way. There is no room for the lukewarm".

When asked by the press, Pareja stated that the goal is to achieve victory in Buenos Aires territory, in line with the request of President Javier Milei. "We ask people to go vote and express themselves against what they experience every day. We are going to offer them the best of all of us", he said.

On the PRO side, the person in charge of representing the party was Cristian Ritondo, PRO president inthe province. "I believe this is a day of great hope for Buenos Aires residents. There is hope to recover a province that for some is unviable and for us everything is possible. As the national government has shown in the country, we can find balance, security, and order", he stated.

Ritondo also addressed the challenge of reversing years of Kirchnerist dominance in the province. "We are going to carry out the commitment in that stronghold of populism that is Buenos Aires Province, so that order and freedom can also be experienced. Thanks to each of the mayors and leaders who supported this agreement", he added.

Regarding the integration of lists and the role of mayors in the negotiation, Ritondo replied: "The creation of an electoral front has never caused so much expectation. This clearly shows the possibility that we can defeat populism in Buenos Aires Province. We are going to discuss capabilities and who best represents us in the PRO and LLA alliance in Buenos Aires Province".

Finally, he emphasized that the coalition is not the result of improvisation: "This is the consolidation of work that did not start today. We have not known each other for just two days. This is a team that began to form and consolidates the work we have been doing. We are clear about what we do not want. We are going to reach an agreement. We want to run an election to win. We hope to live up to what Buenos Aires residents expect from us".

The agreement was reinforced with the confirmation that the 13 PRO mayors in the province will join the new electoral front as a bloc. The alliance thus seeks to consolidate a competitive space to challenge Kirchnerism in its strongest stronghold.
