The narcoterrorist regime of Venezuela announced the deployment of soldiers, planes, ships, and drones near the border with Colombia and in the country's territorial waters, with the false objective of "combating drug trafficking" in a context of growing pressure from the United States on dictator Nicolás Maduro.
Meanwhile, three United States warships are approaching the Venezuelan coast, amid the intensification of President Donald Trump's actions against the Chavista regime, accused of leading the narcoterrorist group "Cártel de los Soles."
These are the ships USS Jason Dunham, which will arrive on August 28, USS Gravely, and USS Sampson, all of the Arleigh Burke class, equipped with guided missiles and advanced capabilities for counter-narcotics operations in international waters.

Diosdado Cabello, Minister of the Interior and Maduro's right-hand man, reported that 15,000 military personnel will reinforce security in the border states of Zulia and Táchira. "Here we do fight drug trafficking; here we do fight drug cartels on all fronts," he stated. The Venezuelan regime also deployed ships, planes, and drones to patrol the area.
