A man is arrested with an impressive arsenal in Unquillo: what was found in his possession
The police seized weapons, ammunition, and a tactical vest during an operation in the Villa Tortosa neighborhood
During an operation related to a robbery case, the police found a hidden arsenal in a house in the city of Unquillo, Córdoba. The procedure was ordered by District 4 Prosecutor's Office, Shift 4, led by Doctor Liliana Copello.
The intervention was carried out with officers from the Investigations Brigade of the Punilla Department. The operation took place on Friday morning at La Cautiva Street and 7th Street, in the Villa Tortosa neighborhood of that locality in Sierras Chicas.
A 44-year-old man was arrested at the scene, who was present in the raided residence. Both the detainee and all seized items were taken to the police station.

Weapons, ammunition, and tactical equipment inside the residence
During the procedure, the officers found four pistols of different calibers, a 12/70 gauge shotgun, and eight magazines. They also seized a silencer, a tactical vest, a cell phone, and around 120 cartridges. The discovery surprised the officers, since the house was only linked to a robbery case.
The accused was placed at the disposal of the prosecutor's office that had ordered the operation as part of a previously initiated investigation. The case took an unexpected turn, since additional charges are being added for possession of weapons under conditions that could constitute federal crimes. The case remains in the hands of the justice system to determine the next steps regarding the seized items.
