Despite his young age, Erling Haaland continues to accumulate accolades in a career filled with awards. This Thursday, the 26-year-old forward from Manchester City received four Guinness World Records certificates for some of his main scoring records, both at the club level and with the Norway national team.

One of the awards recognizes the Norwegian as the fastest footballer to reach 100 goals in Premier League history. Haaland reached that figure on December 2, 2025, when he scored against Fulham, needing just 111 matches since his debut with Manchester City to achieve it.

On the other hand, the striker was also recognized for his extraordinary debut in English football. During the 2022/23 season, he scored 36 goals in 38 Premier League matches, a figure that allowed him to surpass Mohamed Salah's 32 goals in the 2017/18 season. He also left behind the 34 goals achieved by Andy Cole and Alan Shearer when the league still had 42 matches.

The collection of accolades is completed with two international records. Haaland is the all-time top scorer of the UEFA Nations League, with 19 goals between 2020 and 2024, four more than his closest competitor. Additionally, he shares a Champions League record with Lionel Messi and Luiz Adriano: the three scored five goals in a single match. Haaland achieved this on March 14, 2023, during the Manchester City's rout against RB Leipzig, equaling a record that Messi had set with Barcelona against Bayer Leverkusen in 2012.

In addition to being chosen for the cover of the Guinness World Records Football Book 2027, the organization also highlighted the enormous popularity that the forward gained during the 2026 World Cup with Norway. According to the organization, Haaland gained around 24 million followers on Instagram during the tournament, a figure that reflected his growing impact off the pitch.
