The Chief of Staff, Manuel Adorni, held a meeting this Friday with the United States ambassador, Peter Lamelas.
The meeting, which was part of a broader agenda coordinated by the government of Javier Milei, was shared by Adorni through his social media, where he sought to highlight the alignment between both officials.
In his post, Adorni shared the official photograph with Lamelas and summarized the conversation with a message that pointed directly to the principles both share.

"Today I received the United States ambassador, Peter Lamelas. Trade, cooperation, and a shared conviction: defending the free world and the ideas that sustain it. The end," he wrote, seeking to emphasize both the institutional tone of the meeting and the strategic affinity that Javier Milei's government keeps with Donald Trump's administration.
According to the information released, the topics addressed in the meeting focused on the consolidation of bilateral trade and the development of new channels of strategic cooperation, especially in areas where both governments believe there is room to advance in specific agreements.
Lamelas's agenda included another relevant meeting inside the Casa Rosada. Parallel to the meeting with Adorni, the Minister of the Interior, Diego Santilli, also received the ambassador in the Hall of Shields.
The dialogue between both officials extended over the main axes of the bilateral relationship, with a detailed review of the points that currently dominate the connection between both capitals.

According to information provided by the national government, Santilli and Lamelas "reviewed the main points of the bilateral agenda and highlighted the high-level relationship that unites the two countries," in a context marked by strong political alignment between Washington and Buenos Aires.
The ambassador's visit took place just days after a new trade agreement between the United States and Argentina was announced. This understanding, presented by the Casa Rosada as a tool to "strengthen and balance the economic relationship," is part of the set of measures that both governments seek to implement in the coming months to expand cooperation and boost the flow of investments.
With these meetings, the ruling party reaffirms its international orientation and places the relationship with the United States as one of the main allies in its foreign policy.
