Manuel Celasco, Susana Giménez's hidden grandson who chose to work away from fame
Meanwhile, his other granddaughter, Lucía, shines in the media; he preferred discretion and a regular job in Uruguay
Manuel Celasco, the lesser-known grandson of Susana Giménez, built a very different path from that of his grandmother and sister. Unlike Lucía Celasco, who ventured into fashion and media, Manuel chose a low profile and stayed away from the cameras, despite having a very close relationship with the Argentine diva.
Son of Mercedes Sarrabayrouse and Eduardo Celasco, Manuel was born 28 years ago into a publicly exposed family, but he never sought the spotlight. Over the years, he chose a discreet life, even when he was professionally linked to his grandmother's show.
Between 2013 and 2015, he worked as a production assistant for Susana Giménez's historic television cycle. Although his participation occurred away from the cameras, his role behind the scenes demonstrated his commitment and professionalism.

The grandson who chose to work "like any person"
Trained in Business Administration at UADE, Manuel charted a path that contrasted with the family's media environment. In an old radio interview, Susana humorously described him as "the only one who works in this family," highlighting his choice to stay out of the spotlight.
His bond with the host was always close. In 2017, for example, he accompanied her when she was honored as an Illustrious Citizen of the City of Buenos Aires, an event he attended as just another family member, without seeking attention.

He currently resides in Punta del Este, Uruguay, where he shares everyday life with his grandmother. Far from the television spotlight, he worked asa bartender in a local bar, maintaining a common routine that contrasted with the showbiz world.
In statements to the press, he even assured that he never saw Susana as a famous figure. "She's like any grandmother, but mine is on TV," he commented in a phrase that summed up his simple and familiar view.
Manuel Celasco chose anonymity and a common working life, despite belonging to one of the country's most media-exposed families. Over time, he demonstrated that one can accompany a star without needing to live like one.
