Marchesín replied harshly to Migliore after his criticism of the Superclásico
The Xeneize goalkeeper was one of the most criticized in the defeat against River for his responsibility in Mastantuono's free kick
Boca's defeat at the Monumental continues to generate criticism. Several players are under scrutiny, and among the most questioned was the goalkeeper Agustín Marchesín, particularly for his reaction to the free-kick goal scored by Franco Mastantuono.

One of the harshest criticisms toward the Lanús goalkeeper came from a former colleague in the position, Pablo Migliore. The former footballer and boxer was blunt in his criticism, stating that the goal conceded "is all on him," and that "one automatically realizes when one could have done something more".
He also added that it was "a technical error, he saw it going up and thought it was going out".

In response to these remarks, Marchesín was quick to respond harshly. In a conversation with Radio Continental, he issued a direct retort: "Conceding a goal is what happened to Pablo with Fluminense. When it goes under you or bounces and goes in".
The goalkeeper born in San Cayetano referred to the memorable goal Migliore conceded in the 2008 Copa Libertadores semifinal, when he was guarding Boca's goal under Carlos Ischia, after a shot by Thiago Neves. He also criticized the former goalkeeper's attitude by saying: "Talking among colleagues is something I would never do. Then there are goals where you could do something more".

The controversial change in the Libertadores
In the same interview, Marchesín also addressed the criticism for his substitution before the penalty shootout against Alianza Lima at La Bombonera, during a decisive Libertadores stage.
"It's nonsense that I didn't want to be in the shootout", he expressed about his replacement by Leandro Brey, and emphasized: "the goalkeeper always dreams of reaching that stage. It's glory". "Criticism comes. These are decisions that are made that one has to respect", he concluded.
