María Becerra surprised her followers by sharing one of the most difficult episodes of her life. In an interview during her time in Miami, the artist decided to break the silence about a series of health complications that she kept private for years, which were related to various pregnancies that did not come to term.
The singer recounted that between 2023 and 2025 she experienced four gestational losses, one of which resulted in an extremely serious condition that put her life at risk. “There was a real possibility that I wouldn’t survive”, she recalled when referring to the last hospitalization she had to face.
Moved, the interpreter explained that she had never publicly shared all the details of what happened. She described the first episode as a ectopic pregnancy, a potentially dangerous medical condition that occurs when the embryo develops outside the uterus.
The situation led to internal bleeding and the loss of a fallopian tube, a consequence that would permanently affect her reproductive health.
Years later, new gestational losses occurred, which the artist described as an extremely painful phase both physically and emotionally. “It was very hard to go through all that”, she confessed.
