María Corina Machado supported Milei for the measure against the Cartel de los Soles.
Milei aligned Argentina with the U.S., Ecuador, and Paraguay by declaring the Cartel de los Soles a terrorist organization
The Argentine Government officially included the Cartel de los Soles this Tuesday in the Public Registry of Persons and Entities Linked to Acts of Terrorism and Their Financing (RePET).
The measure, which is part of international commitments assumed by the Argentine Republic, seeks to strengthen the prevention and fight against terrorism, as well as the protection of the national financial system.
The resolution was coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Gerardo Werthein, and the Ministry of Security, headed by Patricia Bullrich.

The Minister of Security communicated the decision through the 'X' network and directly targeted the leaders of the Venezuelan regime: “We declare the Cartel de los Soles a terrorist and narco-criminal organization. Maduro and his entourage are narco-terrorists. Neither in Argentina nor anywhere else in the world will they be able to carry out their criminal activities. For this Government, those who commit crimes will pay for them. Here or wherever it may be.”.
The decision places Argentina in line with the United States, Ecuador, and Paraguay, countries that had already declared this structure a criminal organization with terrorist characteristics.
The so-called Cartel de los Soles, led by dictator Nicolás Maduro and Diosdado Cabello, is responsible for a drug trafficking networkdirectly linked to Venezuelan political power.
After the official announcement became known, the opposition leader to the Chavista dictatorial regime, María Corina Machado expressed her support for the Argentine president. “Dear President Milei, on behalf of Venezuelans I thank you for your firm and determined support for the just cause of freedom and democracy in Venezuela, as well as for the support and affection of the people of Argentina.” she posted on her social networks.

Machado, banned by the Chavista regime and prevented from running in elections, also highlighted the context of crisis in her country. “Our people have faced with immense courage and dignity a criminal narco-terrorist regime that has intentionally caused misery, violence, and the flight of millions of citizens.”.
She added: “Today we have a united, organized society determined to win its freedom and bring our children back home.”.
The Venezuelan leader also emphasized the international support in the process of pressure against Maduro: “We know that we also have the support of the brotherly peoples of the Americas and the genuine democratic leaders of the world. Venezuela will be free!”.
With this resolution, the Milei administration consolidates its alignment with governments and figures who question Chavismo and identify it as a regime linked to narco-terrorism.
