Viviana Canosa's television cycle Viviana Canosa (El Trece) has once again found itself at the center of the storm. This time, not because of an exclusive or a fiery editorial, but due to a fierce fight between two of its panelists: Mariano Roa and Débora D’Amato.
The tension between them had been building up for weeks, but what happened on the last show went beyond the limits of the broadcast and exposed deep personal differences.
A conflict that had been brewing
Everything started some time ago, when they were debating the case of Luciana Salazar and Martín Redrado on the show. In that context, Roa made a controversial statement against women who choose surrogacy or fertility treatments to become single mothers.
He stated bluntly that he preferred "adoption over buying a child." His words struck a chord with D’Amato, who formed a single-parent family through treatment and is the mother of two daughters.

That initial discussion had already strained the relationship between them, but what happened days later was even more serious.
During another show, while they were commenting on the confrontation between Pedro Rosemblat and Nicolás Wiñazki, the discussion escalated to a personal level.
Insults on air and public reaction
In the middle of the broadcast, Roa could not contain himself and called D’Amato "dirty, intolerant, and ridiculous" and accused her of using feminism as an ideological shield.
