"Streaming has become very young"
The historic CQC host was blunt when explaining why he feels it is time to step aside. "I'm not going to be around anymore: I think streaming has become very young, up to around 40. There hasn't been one where I can speak to an older audience, at this point I'd like to do something else", he said.
He also added: "I'm already too old for streaming. I think there's an age when you shouldn't be there anymore".
An announcement he made live
Pergolini acknowledged that his statement was not something he had planned. "The truth is that I'm saying it on air right now. Live, I think yes, I'm not going to be around anymore", he admitted during the conversation with the Luzu hosts.
The media entrepreneur stated that he feels he has closed a chapter: "I'm done with that 'hello, how are you, I'm here to chat for a while.' I want to do other things".
He will continue with projects, but without live broadcasts
Despite his decision, Pergolini clarified that he will not leave the media entirely. He confirmed that next year he will do special programs, although he will no longer participate in live broadcasts. He currently hosts Deja que entre el sol on Vorterix and is also part of Otro día perdido on El Trece.
