Mario Pergolini exploded against Boca's management led by Riquelme.
The radio host replied to a controversial post that the club uploaded after the chants against the Xeneize president's management
Mario Pergolini expressed his strong discontent after the management of Boca used the club's official social media to criticize a group of fans who protested against Juan Román Riquelme's management during the last match against Lanús.
The Vorterix host was upset by the use of institutional channels to highlight differences among supporters. "Don't divide. We all cheer," he wrote on his Instagram account, making clear his disagreement with the message spread by the institution.

Pergolini, who was part of the Board of Directors led by Jorge Amor Ameal, has become a frequent critic of the officialdom, and this time, he took advantage of the controversy to renew his criticisms toward Riquelme.
The message that sparked controversy among the fans
Although Boca is in the quarterfinals of the Apertura 2025 play-offs, the atmosphere at La Bombonera remains tense after the departure of Fernando Gago. During the final stretch of the match against Lanús, a section of the stadium, mainly in the stands, made themselves heard with chants against the board of directors, reflecting the discontent with the team's current football performance.

The next day, the club posted a brief but forceful message on its official X account: "We cheer," accompanied by a video with images of the fans who were present at the stadium. The publication caused an immediate reaction from the followers. While some supported the content, others took it as a way to disqualify the legitimate criticism of the supporters.

The chants that marked the night at La Bombonera
Beyond the penalty shootout against Lanús, the chants against the leadership took the spotlight of the match. After the final whistle, a group of fans expressed their discontent by chanting: "The board, the board is going to hell." Minutes later, the chant became even more widespread: "They all must go, not a single one should remain."
