Momi Giardina starred in one of the toughest nights on MasterChef Celebrity. The comedian presented a raw dish, the judges decided not to taste it and the sanction was immediate.
The episode took place in the latest broadcast of the Telefe reality show, where the challenge consisted of preparing a typical dish from Nepal. The result unleashed criticism, tension in the studio and a flood of memes on social media.
A night to forget on MasterChef Celebrity
From the beginning, Momi showed doubts about the assigned recipe. Despite trying to follow the step-by-step instructions, the dish did not reach the necessary cooking point. Before the judges' feedback, the contestant herself anticipated the outcome:"If I were you, I wouldn't taste it", she said ironically in front of the chefs.
The first to approach was Germán Martitegui: when he tried to cut the dough, he immediately noticed that it was raw. In the midst of the nervousness, Giardina resorted to humor to ease the tension. "Do you have workers' compensation insurance?", she joked from her station.
The sauce did not convince the chefs either
The judges only agreed to taste the sauce. Donato de Santis reacted with a surprised expression because of the excess of seasonings. The verdict was unanimous: the dish was inedible.
