Matías Bertolotti anticipated what the weather will be like in AMBA this Friday, January 2. The scenario combines variable cloudiness, a drop in temperatures, and the arrival of a cold front for the first weekend of 2026.
The meteorologist explained that cold fronts are beginning to mark a break with the extreme heat and leave a cooler start to the year.

Today's weather in AMBA: instability and mild afternoon
During the morning, isolated showers were recorded in sectors of the western Greater Buenos Aires area, with chances that some light rain will reach areas near the city.
The instability will be temporary: the south wind pushes the cloudiness toward the north and leaves an afternoon with partly cloudy skies. The highs will range between 28 and 29 degrees, with a mild environment that may feel somewhat warm at times.
Tomorrow's weather: the stronger cold front arrives
According to Bertolotti, the third and most intense cold front will move in around 2 a.m. This system will bring a marked change: windy Saturday, cool and with very cold air for the time of year.
