There may be some isolated dark clouds due to slight instability, but the day will alternate between clear skies and few clouds. "There is no middle ground," the specialist explained.

Night with wind shift and brief relief

Toward the end of the afternoon or the beginning of the night, a weak cold front will cause the wind to shift to the southeast. This will generate a sharp drop in temperature, although it will last for just a few hours.

The night will remain hot, with readings close to 31 degrees (87.8 degrees Fahrenheit), and the relief will be short-lived: about five hours before the wind shifts again.
