Mauro Icardi was declared a debtor for child support and could lose 'the house of his dreams'

The footballer will have to pay more than 150 million Argentine pesos to be in compliance

Argentine justice issued a ruling that complicates Mauro Icardi's situation. The footballer was declared a debtor of child support for failing to pay the corresponding amount for his daughters Francesca and Isabella, from his relationship with Wanda Nara.

As a consequence, the luxurious mansion that the couple shared in Nordelta, popularly known as "the house of dreams" and where the footballer later lived with China Suárez, was seized.

In recent hours, a document issued by Civil Court 106 of Buenos Aires surfaced, which includes the complaint filed by Wanda Nara against her ex-husband in the context of a child support enforcement proceeding.

According to the ruling, the debt amounts to 110,000 dollars in child support capital and an additional 3,500 dollars for interest, legal fees, and enforcement costs, an amount that will also continue to accumulate daily until it is settled.

In total, the footballer will have to pay around 150 million Argentine pesos (330,693 pounds) to become compliant again.

The court ruling also states that, if he returns to the country, Icardi will not be able to leave Argentina until he regularizes his situation. This type of measure is common in proceedings for noncompliance with child support obligations.

Journalist Laura Ubfal was one of the first to confirm the information and point out that the property located in Nordelta was affected by the seizure. That residence had been described on multiple occasions by the media as Wanda Nara's dream come true, who at the time shared images of the house on social media.

The ruling became known shortly after a strong public statement that the businesswoman posted on her X account, where she directly targeted her ex-partner for the alleged abandonment of the daughters they have in common.

"How can he leave the country as if nothing happened if he hasn't paid in 10 months? Not even health insurance or a single peso for child support? What kind of family lawyers celebrate such abandonment by a father?" wrote Wanda, in a message where she also emphasized that she continues to provide financial support to part of Icardi's family.
